The Honorable Judge Aaron Cohn was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia. Judge Cohn volunteered for the U.S. Army in the summer of 1940 and served in four major campaigns. As a Major in the 3rd Cavalry, he served under General George Patton. Judge Cohn and his unit liberated the Ebansee concentration camp in Austria.
In 1946, after leaving the army, Judge Cohn resumed his law practice. He retired in 2011 at the age of 95 as the longest serving Juvenile Court Justice in the country.
