Help Educate New Generations About Holocaust History and its Relevance Today
As our remaining survivors and witnesses to the Holocaust are passing away, we face a dangerous increase in Holocaust denial and anti-semitism here and around the world. Our obligation is to educate new generations of leaders who will safeguard democracy, preserve memory and confront hate, racism, anti-semitism, Holocaust denial and distortion, and contemporary threats of genocide. We do this by teaching about the Holocaust and its lessons for today. Your support has a significant, measurable impact. The Commission will be able to create interactive, engaging onsite and traveling exhibitions, bring students and teachers from underserved communities to these exhibitions, provide ongoing educational programming for teachers, students and communities statewide, and hold Holocaust commemorations, including Georgia’s annual observance of the Days of Remembrance.
