Holocaust Learning Trunk Project launches in Gainesville
Two trunks from the statewide Holocaust Learning Trunk Project launched at South Hall Middle School in Gainesville, Georgia.
One trunk was decorated by students at The Weber School and one trunk was decorated by students at Mount Vernon Presbyterian Upper School.
Special guests included Lieutenant Governor Casey Cagle, Representative Carl Rodgers, and Senator Butch Miller. Commission members Chairman Michael Altman, Vice Chairman Russel Weiskircher, Treasurer Joe T. Wood Sr., and Holocaust Learning Trunk Project Chairman Steve Sutton were also present for the program.
